The order comms system we use to electronically request pathology tests via EMIS. It is available around the clock and is the quickest and easiest way of ordering tests provided by Synnovis.

Getting started

<aside> 🥇 You do not need a log-in for TQuest - it is automatically linked to your EMIS account.

If you’re unable to access TQuest or make requests, get in touch with the IT team.

Making a Test Request

<aside> 💡 For Penrose Surgery, tests should be requested from GSTT. For all other practices, requests must be sent to KCH.

Complete and Incomplete Tests

A test which has been finished is called a Complete Test on EMIS. ****

• To access a list of all complete tests, navigate to ‘Workflow Manager’ on the EMIS homepage, select ‘Test Requests’ to the left hand side of the page and click ‘Request Complete’.

• You can re-print a complete test by right clicking on a test from the list and selecting ‘Print Test Request’

• If a patient sample has not yet been taken, you’ll find the details of the test request under ‘Awaiting Sample’

If TQuest is not working or unavailable, or if you're unable to print an online form, follow these steps to complete your request offline.
